Student Handicrafts Nepal

Established in 1999, Student Handicraft Enterprises operates as a factory-based manufacturer, wholesaler, and exporter, specializing in traditional Nepalese arts and crafts.

In 1999, Mr. Ram Krishna Bhattarai, the visionary behind Student Handicrafts Enterprises, was still a high school student when he launched the company. From its inception, the mission of Student Handicrafts has been to empower students. Staying true to its name, the company has employed numerous students over the years, particularly those passionate about Nepali handicrafts and handmade products.

With a strong emphasis on aiding Nepalese students—especially those hailing from rural communities, disadvantaged backgrounds, or challenging financial situations. Supporting these individuals remains our utmost priority. They provide training, part-time employment, and skill development opportunities tailored to each individual's strengths. This allows them to continue their studies while also earning a source of income.

Throughout the years, countless students have collaborated with us, and we are honoured to play a role in their journey. However, our commitment extends beyond students; we also provide training sessions and workshops for those requiring additional support. This encompasses single mothers, women with low literacy levels, and individuals with physical disabilities. Our aspiration is to empower them, bolster their confidence, and enhance their lives through meaningful employment.

At Student Handicrafts, their vision is straightforward: they aim to uplift the lives of Nepali artisans and present their craftsmanship to a global audience. They advocate for small-scale industries and strive to promote authentic, handmade Nepali arts and crafts in the international marketplace.
